There are many sports / activity leadership opportunities that you can undertake depending on your interest.

Many schools run the generic Sports Leaders UK qualification in sports leadership. If interested then why not visit the Sportsleaders website or ask your 5x60 Officer for more info.

Once you have trained up you can assist the activity leader in the delivery of sporting activities to your mates or younger pupils, gaining valuable experience in sports coaching.

If you are interested in assisting in primary schools, then contact your local Dragon Sport Officer. They will put you on a 1 day training course and organise a placement at a local primary school.

If you are interested in coaching in a particular sport then contact your 5x60 Officer, they may be able to organise for you to attend a Level 0/Level 1 coaching course where you will gain a nationally recognised coaching qualification in a sport of your choice and put you on the first step to a possible sports coaching career!
